      The NBYSA War Eagles played in the NSA State B Championship Tournament held at the North Collier Regional Park in Naples Florida on July 12 and 13, 2008. The NBYSA War Eagles won every game they played, but due to torrential rains canceling many of the play-off games, the War Eagle girls had to settle for runner-up in the final decision based on scores and seedings. The girls were determined to win this tournament and nothing could stop them…except Mother Nature. The team played extremely well in the games that they did play and probably would have won the Championship if the weather would have held out for them. In any event, the tournament was a good experience and gave the girls an opportunity to show their skills.
