There will be a PAL North Brevard Blaze girls Fastpich Softball general meeting on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2008 at 7:00 PM. The meeting will be held at Ron Norris Certified Used Cars, 1508 South Washington Avenue, Titusville FL 32780. (See map Below)

We will review and make a final decision on hosting a Friendly tournament on Sunday, December 7, 2008, review for further consideration the possibility of hosting a Softball camp to benefit those trying out for Little League Softball, reconsider an alternate date for our end of the season picnic (tentatively set for January 10, 2008), and make preparations to build a Pitching Wall to benefit the development of pitchers in the North Brevard area.

The most important issues that will be discussed is the meeting that Don Smith setup with the County Commissioners and Parks & Rec on Wed, December 3rd at 10:00am. The meeting is to voice our concern about the Chain of Lakes field cost and maintenance charges. The cost to use the fields for tournaments is a pressing issue that greatly affects the possibility of hosting tournaments at the Chain of Lakes facility. As costs stand now, it is highly unlikely that NSA or any other sanctioning organization will host games in Brevard County. This will adversely impact our ability to raise funds for our organization through Concession Stand sales and will make home games also unlikely. This puts all our games as away games and puts more burden on our teams and families.

We will also discuss other PAL North Brevard Blaze Girls Fastpitch Softball organizational Board of Directors business as necessary. This is an opportunity to give your input and ideas on how to make our organization even better.
