Chain of Lakes Regional Recreation Park
Each softball field at the Chain of Lakes park has high backstops to help contain errant foul balls. Each field has bleachers for the Home and Visitor teams which are located behind the high fence portion of the backstop. The bleachers area is paved with cement to keep the area clean and trip hazard free. A picnic table and bench are located behind home plate at each field for the scorekeeper and scoreboard operator to use. There is plenty of space seperating the fields, which helps to keep foul balls from one field from interfering with play on adjacent fields. There are paved walkways between the fields and the parking areas, making this facility wheelchair accessible.
Every softball field at the Chain of Lakes is equiped with a scoreboard that is located in center field. These large scoreboards are easily viewed from the bleachers, dugouts and most other viewing areas.
At the Chain of Lakes facility, there is a concession facility at each group of fields. These concession facilities are new and very clean with ceramic tile floors, stainless steel tables and modern plumbing to ensure sanitary conditions.
During tournements and events, the concession facility serves a wide variety of wholesome foods. Burgers and Hot Dogs are flame grilled on our large gas grill and prepared by experienced Bar-B-Q experts.
