5:30 Chain of Lakes

Additional weekday practice times will be set.

At this weeks practice, you will get your 2009 player package of info.
Please go through each page carefully and return the package ASAP!
Returning members have a $20.00 fee now due along with your
$35.00 monthly fee for January.

We will be deciding on an additional team uniform shirt to go with our black pants,
rather than the camo t-shirt. This will give us two full uniforms.
The cost of these shirts is approximately $40.00
Some of the parents are going to order an additional pair of pants
at a cost of approximately $ 20-25.00
I will try and get a uniform order form in the packet for Thursday.
There is a whole list of things you may order ranging from
warm ups to hats, visors, socks, helmets and bat bags.
These can be for your player or yourself!
If you think there is something you might
be interested in, please ask me about an item and cost!

Saturday Jan 10 PAL BLAZE Family Picnic
11:00 am
Reliant Energy Campground, Port St. John
We need a headcount from each family no later than Wednesday!
This is a picnic for the entire Blaze organization!
We need each family to provide:
1 side dish and/or 1 dessert
Drinks for your family
We will supply hot dogs and hamburgers for our team, this is why we need a headcount!
PAL Blaze Board Election will be announced!
This will be your opportunity to speak up if you are interested
in serving on the Board!! :)

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS

     The NBYSA Blaze 14 & Under team will have practices on Thursdays at the Chain of Lakes field on July 24th, July 31st, August 7th and August 14th.

     Uniform sizes, pants sizes and parents shirts orders are due on July 27th.

     The NBYSA Blaze 14 & Under team will be playing in a Tournament at the Chain of Lakes field on August 9th, 2008. Tournament details will be coming soon!

     Player's Fees are due on October 5th.

2008 Tryouts

     There was a greater than expected turn-out at the NBYSA Blaze Girls’ Fastpitch tryouts on Sunday, May 4th, 2008. We had 27 girls pre-register and 66 girls in all tryout in the various age groups with 14 girls representing the 14 & Under group. With all the talented girls that came out for tryouts, we are anticipating a very successful season to the end of the year. Thank you to all the coaches, parents, girls and supporters of the NBYSA Blaze Girls’ Fastpitch organization that are making this program a success in developing girls’ fastpitch softball in North Brevard County.
