(see below) Beginning (approximately) the week of July 20 practice will pick up to include several weeknights as well as Sundays. ISA will be hosting a tournament next week at Chain of Lakes We are looking to see who would be available Wednesday and/or Thursday to work the concession stand as a fund raiser for our team. This is a good opportunity for out girls to earn community service hours! Please contact Susan ASAP if you are available and what times you could work. There will be times available all day! Tournament Altamonte Springs Sat and Sun July 25 & 26 If you are NOT available for this tournament please notify Bob or Susan ASAP! Higher Ground Softball Camp July 31, Aug 1 & Aug 2 Chain of Lakes Please see link...pre register if possible Registration the day of the camp will cost you $10.00 more! http://www.northbrevardblaze.com/ Decisions need to be made regarding tournament play. We need to know where everyone stands with regards to how much ball will be played. We are working on a "fall league" (this is still in the planning stage by the BLAZE Board) The "fall league" would consist of 2 games per Sunday playing every other Sunday at Chain of Lakes with other teams in the area. This "fall league" runs for approximately 12-13 games per team and would start near the end of August. The "fall league" is not for profit. The cost per team/per Sunday will be $100.00 This cost covers umpires and field fees.      The NBYSA Blaze 14 & Under team will have practices on Thursdays at the Chain of Lakes field on July 24th, July 31st, August 7th and August 14th.

     Uniform sizes, pants sizes and parents shirts orders are due on July 27th.

     The NBYSA Blaze 14 & Under team will be playing in a Tournament at the Chain of Lakes field on August 9th, 2008. Tournament details will be coming soon!

     Player's Fees are due on October 5th.

     There was a greater than expected turn-out at the NBYSA Blaze Girls’ Fastpitch tryouts on Sunday, May 4th, 2008. We had 27 girls pre-register and 66 girls in all tryout in the various age groups with 14 girls representing the 14 & Under group. With all the talented girls that came out for tryouts, we are anticipating a very successful season to the end of the year. Thank you to all the coaches, parents, girls and supporters of the NBYSA Blaze Girls’ Fastpitch organization that are making this program a success in developing girls’ fastpitch softball in North Brevard County.
