NBYSA War Eagles
NSA SOUTH B AND SILVER B STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT
July 12 - 13, 2008 North Collier Regional Park, Naples, Florida
The NBYSA War Eagles played in the NSA South B and Silver B Championship Tournament held at the North Collier Regional Park in Naples Florida on July 12 and 13, 2008. This tournament is for newly formed teams. The NBYSA War Eagles won every game they played, but due to torrential rains canceling many of the play-off games, the War Eagle girls had to settle for runner-up in the final decision based on scores and seedings. The girls were determined to win this tournament and nothing could stop them…except Mother Nature. The team played extremely well in the games that they did play and probably would have won the Championship if the weather would have held out for them. In any event, the tournament was a good experience and gave the girls an opportunity to show their skills.

Battle of the NBYSA High School Teams!
The NBYSA Terriers played a Scrimmage Game against the NBYSA War Eagles on Wednesday, June 11th at 6:00 at the Chain of Lakes Regional Park! It was a Great Game featuring our NBYSA Girls Fastpitch Softball High School players! There were a lot of spectators supporting each team and all the girls played well. This game was an opportunity for the coaches to play their players in different positions and to give them live play experience. The girls played exceptionally well and displayed good sportsmanship to the highest degree. We are very proud of all our girls from both teams.
We would like to thank the Umpires, Coaches and Parents for their efforts in providing the NBYSA Fastpitch High School teams an opportunity to play. We hope to arrange another ‘Battle of the NBYSA High School Teams’ again soon.
